Life @ Home is an installation that celebrates potential future shifts in domestic life that align with global events. The response to these possible changes manifests through the imaginative Democratic Home, an unconventional, multi-pentagon-faceted structure. Playfully addressing challenges such as small domestic spaces, the transient nature of urban living, the drive for slow living in fast-paced cities, and the dynamics of multi-generational living, among others. The installation responds through transformative spaces designed to adapt to varying programs that speak to these issues at varying moments.
Beyond these lifestyle considerations, Life @ Home additionally tackles the prevalent issue of design adaptation to found conditions, whether in the case of historical buildings or repurposed spaces, confronted with odd scenarios that creative thinking is ought to embrace.
